I've been feeling the thick black cat liner, red lips, blushed cheeks, and handkerchiefs in hair a lot lately. I actually plan to do a little photo shoot with some of my girlfriends here soon {so you'll get to see them once it happens}; but i couldn't wait any longer to play with make up.
So last night i busted out some liquid liner (that i never use), some red lipstick, and played with make up for a while. I love playing with make up, it makes me feel girly and like a kid; plus i love painting so this is like a quick fix for painting! =)
Side note:
This weekend i'll be helping with a photoshoot doing....wait for it...make up. What what?! My friend Susan texted me this week asking if i'd be interested in doing some make up for a fun photo shoot this weekend...nervous much? I'll let y'all know how it goes.

...and then decided to take some pictures of myself, because i suppose i'm weird like that.
I always feel self conscious when i post pictures of myself...because i don't want people to think i'm super narcissistic or anything {and for the win i just spelt 'narcisisstic' without spell check!}.
So to make the record straight i am not narcissistic ha.

Since i'm being honest right now, let me just say that this isn't a make up look i would normally rock outside of the house. Why not? I dont know, maybe i'm just self conscious? Meh, maybe i'll rock this look next week just for kicks and giggles...or maybe i'll chicken out.

& that ladies & gents is how my hair looks after a high wind advisary, multiple throws into a bun, and working out/sweat. Score one for oily nappy and frizzed out hair!

As I said on Instagram, I LOVE that retro look on you. I don't think everyone can pull it off, but you definitely can.
I may be one in a million here, but I HATE makeup. I struggle with acne so it is just a pain for me. I only put it on if I absolutely have to like for church or a banquet or something. I'm fine with eye makeup every now and then, but the foundation, then powder, then concealer, then blush routine is too much for me!

Daily, I just throw on foundation and blush. Classes and work take up most of my time, and I just don't have enough hours in the day to take the time to do my makeup.
But! If I'm ever going out, I go full on glamorous. I love makeup. I have a TON of it, so I might as well use it, right?

I wear makeup almost daily. Maybe not on Saturdays. I like to wear it, most of the time. Although eyeliner is a PAIN but i feel naked w/o it.

Can I just echo everyone here and say you are sooooo beautiful. like stunning. oh I just love it! I especially love that second picture of you with your eyes closed and laughing...so cute :) And I really enjoy pictures of bloggers so keep 'em coming. Also, I suppose the idea of all of us even haaaaving a blog is kind of narcassistic, so I feel like we crossed that bridge a while ago haha)
My daily make-up look is brown shadowliner, clear mascara, a clear or tinted balm for my skin, maybe blush if I'm looking rough, and lip balm! Oh and sometimes I add in an eye cream!
