I have a confession to make...
...you guys i've been slack.
Very, very slack.
You see i guess i get lazy, bored, indifferent, whatever when i come home and i just check through the days mail and leave it piled up on the console table.
You might remember that i tackled this problem back in september...
Well my curious friends, that was a lie.
I know, i know i'm not normally a lying kind of person in fact i loathe lying. Yet i must recognize that by my omission to the fact that i am still a sloppy pig in the mail department may make me a mail liar. Hello, my name is Amy and I am a mail liar.
The truth is this is the amount of mail i allowed to pile up...again.
Tobi did not approve.
Magazines, bills, tax information, bla bla bla.
I don't like mail.
It reminds me of the fact that i am absolutely a freaking adult.
I don't always want to be an adult...who cares about paying bills, getting your tax information together, making sure you mail things off on the right date so you don't get a fee/get in trouble/etc.
Just to make things clear i'm very prompt on paying my bills, i was raised at a young age to always pay your bills on time and in the full amount, so done son!

I spent a good thirty minutes on Sunday going through this stack of mail and making my recycling piles, to file piles, etc. I'm hoping that at some point this week i will take my "to file pile" and actually FILE everything. You guys i have so much paper work within my home that it is absolutely insane.

So there is my confession.
Sometimes things don't always go in the organized way that we want it them to. Sometimes we make a mess of things and would rather sit on the couch for thirty minutes instead of sorting the mail.
TRUTH.

I'm sooo with ya...I hate organizing mail. My piles look worse than yours...Eeeekkk!!
girl...i've set up all my bills to be paid directly through e-billing, so now i only get fun mail! :) it pretty much changed my life, and i highly recommend it! :)
I don't get very much mail since I still live at home (just bills), but I LOVE getting real, personal mail. Also, I have my FF post scheduled and ready but I know I'm going to forget to link up. But what's new, right? :)

hahaha truuuuuuth!!! this is how I am with emails. even important work emails. I have the tendancy to let them build and build...
That is my kitchen table, it seems to pile up with mail and what not so fast!

I absolutely love mail, but only "real" mail... not all the bills and junk mail. Sorting through stuff is no fun, though!
I do the same thing. I'm always going to "organize" the mail and then it piles back up again within a couple of months.
at least you admitted to it!! That's why we have each other ... to remind each other to get back on the organizing game and remember how gloriuos it feels to have things where you can actually find them!
Confession - I don't know what bills and payments I have because my husband takes care of it. He'd better not die cause I'd have quite a problem figuring out what gets paid when. (He'd also better not die cause that would be the worst - just saying)
I love mail! Even bills and those stupid statements...not that I get much of those anymore. With all the paperless billing I rarely get stuff now.
Ugh I hate mail too. Especially in the middle of moving because there's nowhere to file it. Props to you to tackle it!
I pile our mail too...and it usually ends up on the dining room table! After awhile, I just go on a cleaning/organizing kick because it drives me nuts. I need to find a really cute and easy mail organizer...then I feel like I wouldn't have a problem.
