This may come across as whiny...
...but i would just like to say that a four day weekend was not enough.
=)
I had an absolutely wonderful thanksgiving. I remember sitting around my family thinking i'm so blessed to have these people in my life. It truly is a beautiful season...and one that constantly reminds me to NOT take the family that i have for granted every day.
I even got a little teary eyed as i watched each member of my crazy, loud, overly rambunctious family and silently thanked God for threading my life together with theirs.
That isn't to say that my family doesn't have problems...we do...all families do; but it is what you CHOSE to do with those problems, and how you choose to face them: divided or together.
We always choose together.
. . .
I was able to hang out with my brother for a few days...and it was GREAT.
It is always humorous how my cat, Tobi, doesn't enjoy being around him after he has been gone for an extended period of time...it's actually kind of sad really.
Bo left friday night to head back upstate for the BIG Clemson vs USC rival game.
Clemson lost...& i dont want to talk about it.
. . .
I was going to share some Christmas decorations today...but ummm my house currently looks like a rabid pack of two year olds swarmed through and pulled everything into a mess.
The joys of decorating.
So instead i'll share just a few of the pictures i took with some of my family this weekend.
{aka this is about 8 people, we had close to 30 out there}
What?! You don't want to look at pictures of my lovely family instead of Christmas decorations?
Deal with it. =)
. . .
{^Brother}
My grandparents have been married well over 50 years! =)
. . .
Do you feel like you now me better?
Possibly want to stalk my life?
Pshhh i would too after seeing how awesome my family is. :)
. . .
How was your thanksgiving?!
& don't forget, if you're participating in the Christmas Trinket & Tradition swap, packages go out soon.
