Well well...anotha' day anotha' dolla'.
Holla.
Ha, ok enough of that.
You probably think i'm going to discuss bringing down a snake when i carted down my Christmas Tree from the attic...which did happen to my friend, thankfully not to m.
Recently i bought another plant to add to my collection.
The common name for it is a Snake Tail...and it is beautimous.
Behold...
Gorgeous right?
There is only one problem...they are poisonous to cats {makes their tummies really upset}.
Wompwomp.
I wanted to see if Tobi would actually attempt to touch it here...and sure enough he jumped up on the top of the chair (which really is his chair anyways) and started rubbing his face against it. #fail.
I ended up taking the plant outside for the night because i wasn't sure WHERE to put it in the house that he wouldn't jump up and nosh on it.
I guess i could have returned it...but it is sooooooooo pretty.
Yeah, whatever i can be selfish sometimes.
I feel that i have found it a permanent home (for now anyways) in the kitchen where it will get plenty of indirect sunlight AND Tobi won't really be able to jump all over it.
Excuse the leaves in the back yard, i just really don't feel like raking them up.
. . .
Welcome to the family Mr. Snake Tail, hopefully i will remember to love and water you; but the possibility of your dying is actually very high so consider yourself warned.
. . .
Hopefully y'all are ready for tomorrow's Frankly Friday! :)

I like it! It's a nice way to spruce up that corner. Hopefully Tobi doesn't find too much interest in it.
I like him (the plant, although Tobi is nice too). How is Tobi, by the way?
That is a really different plant! It's so unique, but very elegant, too!
Also, we have found that our cats loathe Febreeze. If we don't want them to get into something (i.e. certain rooms, our Christmas tree, trash cans) we Febreeze them. Maybe Febreezing that table and the area around it would work?
Ick about the snake! I think I would have DIED....It gives me the creeps just thinking about it.
Those plants are really neat! Two older people that I know have them and I asked what they were...One lady said she got it from her mother in law YEARS ago and called it tge "motherinlaw" plant. The other said she got a cutting from the first lady I asked. I have my own cutting from that same original plant now. All the while, never knowing what it was.
"See" you tomorrow!
Cool plant! I wonder if I can find it here. Although...I've never been very good with plants. Is Tobi still doing okay?
I AM ready for Frankly Friday. :) Just wrote it up because my head was all "I got something!"
I don't do plants... I'm just too good at killing them. I've tried. I killed a cactus one time because I didn't water it enough. Sad.
It is so pretty! Gosh I'm so glad you didn't have a picture of a REAL snake. Eww. hahaha. Hope your cat stays far away from it! I have to put things up too...to keep them away from Jax!
My parents used to have those plants in thier house and we had cats that would occiasionally nibble at them..and sometimes throw up. TMI? sorry. But they were always, it didn't seem to affect them too much. So you don't have to feel about about being selfish ;)
